Queried psychology nonfiction. Her response almost a month later:
"This strikes me as a tough book to sell at this time in your career. You may be right that there is little veracity or proof to these systems, but even with that, the fact that you are an unknown with neither established expertise or platform, makes this extremely difficult. I think you may have to work at this fo4 some time befor3 attempting to place th3 book."
I appreciate the personalized response, but the numbers in her words seemed unprofessional.

Probably the most interesting rejection letter I've gotten. She liked my idea, but my novel is the start of a series, and she said she's too old to see it through to the end. Hey, at least I know my query/pitch isn't the problem!
