I queried her earlier this year, which resulted in a full request. She ended up passing on it. Though she loved the project, she felt it didn't quite live up to its promise. She emailed me outside of QM and gave me some very extensive notes, which I greatly appreciate since agents don't usually have that type of time. She gave me a lot of compliments on my prose, plus, she made some very valid points regarding what needed work. She invited me to resubmit via a private link that always remains open, something else I greatly appreciate. Her initial rejection stung, but her thoughtful notes really inspired me and made the story so much better, so I resubmitted. I hope she likes the changes, but whether she offers representation or not, I'm very grateful to this agent. Chelsea seems like she'd be great to work with!
