Your recent submission addressed to my colleague Peter Buckman ended up in my inbox, since Peter isn’t taking on new clients for the time being.
I was immediately drawn to the premise of your novel and read the sample material with much interest. The opening pages are very intriguing but, as I read on, the story slowly began to lose its hold on me and so, with regret, I’ve decided that I wouldn’t be the right agent to take your work forward.
